  • Celebrate 4th of July on Kiawah Island

The July 4 holiday week is the most celebrated beach week on Kiawah. All island residents come out to view the spectacular fireworks show, beginning around 9:15 pm. The beach is the best place to view the brilliant display.

Night Heron Park hosts a full day of fun celebrating our nation's independence. Kiawah Island Club members enjoy a special day full of food and festivities.

  • Paddleboard the Kiawah River

The hot weather is perfect for getting out on the water. Paddleboarding is a great way to view the island from the water and get some exercise. Kiawah Island Resort and Waterdog Paddle offer guided tours that are specially timed with the tides. Dolphins love to pop up for a hello too!

  • Morning Walks on the Beach

Morning walks on the beach are a refreshing way to start a Kiawah beach day. Ten miles of pristine sandy beach with epic Sunrises are a great start to the morning. After your morning walk, head over to The Hemingway SC for a delicious rosemary latte.
